AWAKEN LOVE - Live Worship from the Revival Alliance UK Gathering 2011

1-3 September 2011, a group of churches committed to revival, hosted a gathering in Marsham Street’s Emmanuel Centre, London. They were joined by representatives from the North American ‘Revival Alliance’ ministry network that includes; Bill & Beni Johnson, Heidi & Rolland Baker, John & Carol Arnott, Che & Sue Ahn and Georgian & Winnie Banov.

1,000 hungry, passionate, UK church leaders encountered the Presence of God in such a powerful way as to be profoundly impacted. The resulting spiritual shift was summed up in a powerful apostolic declaration made by Bill Johnson, that we would look back on September 1st as being ‘the day things changed in the UK’.

‘Awaken Love’ incorporates worship from various sessions over the 3 day gathering. The resulting album is a mix of existing and prophetic songs, with spontaneous instrumental. It features a time of corporate worship led spontaneously by Bill Johnson, where the passion of the people for their God was conveyed powerfully through voices raised together in unison. And also includes the exuberant session of extreme worship where Georgian Banov joined the band on his violin for a time of breakthrough and release.

Julian & Melissa have been worshipping and enjoying the presence of God together for over 15 years.

After their marriage in 1996 they pursued the call of God together to go to South Africa where they spent nearly a decade leading worship and training musicians.

In 1998 they received a defining prophetic word from Graham Cooke, which included the words; 'as you play atmospheres are gonna be changed and created, people will be healed, set free and delivered.'

Since moving back to the UK in 2005, God has led them into a season of increased intimacy with Him. And they have started to experience that prophecy becoming a reality.

They have 2 sons (Dylan 7 & Owen 5) who they have recently discovered are also gifted in prophetic song, they know that they are called to lead worship together as a family, and are looking forward to seeing how God unfolds that. Their hearts are set on loving Father and seeing His Kingdom come on earth.
